DESCRIPTION:Snowshoeing at Sunset\n\nYES--you can enjoy the refuge any time of the year!\nJoin us as the sun sets for a snowshoe adventure through the winter landscape. This free program is open to all ages and skill levels. Bring your snowshoes or borrow ours (both adult and child sizes are available for free checkout). Expect to start indoors with a short program\, then size your snowshoes before heading out for an easy\, slow-paced guided walk with plenty of stops. This program will meet and end at the Oak Savanna Learning Center.\n\nThis program is held mostly outdoors\, please dress appropriately for the weather. In the event of inadequate snow levels or inclement weather\, the event will be cancelled. Any cancellation notice will be communicated on the Friends Facebook Page and the refuge website. \n\nThe U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is committed to providing access to these events for all participants. Please direct all requests for accommodation to Refuge Headquarters: 763 389 3323\, sherburne@fws.gov\, or TTY 800 877 8339 at least two weeks before the event.
